The ninth episode.




With everything going on in Iran at the moment, I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to post this one or not but tears_of_nienna convinced me that it was more appropriate than ever, so here it is.

tears_of_nienna telling me she approved of Thrawn's voice in The Darkness Consumes. Finally someone agrees with my choice!

Ok, so I'm not ready to release the episode to the general public until I've got the entire series completed.

However, that didn't stop me from submitting the first episode to the DivX Film Festival. Michelle from Britannica Dreams Productions pointed out to me earlier that it's on the list of chosen films!

Thankyou Michelle, I probably wouldn't have even noticed :)

Last sunday, my main computer died. This was very frustrating as I really needed to work on my machinima project so that I could meet the festival submission deadline (which was last night). So after replacing the parts (a long story) I was finally able to get my computer back up and running in time to submit something.

Sadly, I couldn't finish the entire episode but I did submit the opening scenes which I felt are self contained enough to work as a stand alone story but I hope people will want to know what happens next. If it wasn't for the delays I had fixing the computer, I'd probably have been able to finish the whole thing (thankyou rosemilk for convincing me that it could be done).

Now that I've submitted, I just have to wait to hear the results (I'm not sure how long that will take) and hope for the best, while finishing off the rest of the video to release after the festival.

So for the last week, my longtime friend skyealloway was visiting. I took her to see Bath, Wells and Bristol. She also came to the convention with me and we had a great time.

I also introduced her to Doctor Who, Babylon 5 and Spaced, which she enjoyed the most and took home copies of both seasons on DVD.

The convention was good too, sadly we didn't get too meet anyone (the queues were huge for Carrie Fisher and Elijah Wood and Christopher Lee had cancelled due to an injury).

A few weeks ago I interviewed Julie Caitlin Brown (Na'Toth in Babylon 5), she was there at the weekend too but not as a guest. She's the manager for the majority of the Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis cast members but I did talk to her and she remembered me and the interview. She was also pleased to hear the fans enjoyed it.

There are plenty of photos, which I shall upload as soon as I fix my gallery, something I intend doing after dinner.

She went home yesterday though :(

I can also proudly claim to be one of the first people in the country to see Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest.


EDIT: I've met a lot of online friends lately, I see no reason to stop. Who's next?

EDIT2: The gallery has been fixed! photos! (look out for the Star Wars themed photos...Stormtroopers, Jedi Knights, Captain Antilles, Ysanne Isard, Boba Fett and Lord Vader himself!)

I've uploaded photos from my recent trip to America. There were so many (338 out of 496 uploaded), I decided it would be easier to setup another gallery, rather than use my old one (it's still there).

It's a rare chance to see me wearing something that isn't black.

tonight: dinner with machinima people, including my agent and richard grove (babylon 5 and army of darkness). tomorrow a guided tour with them. saturday im meeting my old friend tiff.
